Here are all the not Lego minifigures I got in June 2021!

Hello fans of the brick!  Welcome back to my blog!  Today's quick post will update you on my latest non Lego minifigure acquisitions from Aliexpress.  I'll put a link to the stores I got them from at the bottom of this post.

I'm always on the lookout for inexpensive minifigures, especially those that I can get for less than one dollar each.  I found a store that was selling batches of 10 to 12 minifigures for around $6 CDN.  I also found another store that carried the latest minifigures made by World Minifigures, Kopf, and Pogo brands.

I'm just displaying the minifigures in no particular order.  At the time of this writing, I might have already changed some heads or hairpieces of some of my new minifigures, so don't expect yours to look exactly like mine, if you get them.

Here are some fine ass kicking ladies from the Kopf and Xinh brands. Pictured left to right KF1276, XH1678, KF599 and KF515.  I swapped the 2 heads on the two leftmost minifigures, so that the first one looks like the bride from Kill Bill.  These ones I bought from the Cheering Minifigure store on Aliexpress.

Some more minifigures you might recognize from the Stranger Things, Fortnite and Wandavision franchises.  Chengyi brand CY008 Joyce Meyers (leg swapped), Xinh XH1651, Kopf KF600, and XH1673.  These minifigures from Aliexpress Cheering store also.

The remainder of the pictures are some generic minifigures, I'm not sure of the branding. There are 4 or 5 different sets sold by the Leyu2018 store onAliexpress, each set having 10 or 12 minifigures.  This store is the one I have found selling these sets of minifigures.

In this first picture, I got a male and female security team, a person from the military and a special ops minifigure.

There's a couple of minifigures here that look like they are from the Friends franchise. The other two, I don't know but I can place them in my not Lego city.

Here's some more generic minifigures for my city.  I can't tell if the short one is a boy or girl.  The guy with the banana shirt has a Harry Potter face.

The lady in the red jacket has an id tag, not sure what her profession might be.  I can certainly use the barista minifigure for my coffee shops.  I could see the lady with the gray jacket as being a flight attendant or someone who works in a mall.  Not sure how I can use the guy sporting the british colours.

Here are a couple of painters, a young lady and a female tennis player.

Bootleg Minifigures Database By Down The Blocks

Welcome back to Bricks and Figs!

Quick pop quiz today:

  1. What's the latest and greatest set of bootleg minifigures to come out?
  2. Who are the big manufacturers of bootleg minifgs at the moment?
  3. Is there a bootleg of a minifigure I want?

If you are like me and want the latest bootleg minifigure news, you want to head on over to Down The Blocks blog.   They always have the latest news about new minifigures that are showing up.

I briefly thought about compiling a list of bootleg minifigures a couple of years ago but gave up because I knew I could never keep up.   This was back when Sheng Yuan and Decool ruled the bootleg minifigure world.  After awhile they were rehashing the release of super heroes minifigures and there was only so many Iron Man and Captain America figures they could make.

Then came the Pogo and Xinh explosion coming with new super heroes I've never even heard of.
There's such a variety that it boggles the mind.  And it's such a major task trying to keep track of all of them.

Fortunately Down the Blocks has done the impossible by creating Minifigure Databases for both Pogo and Xinh brands.  These are currently the two major bootleg brands to produce minifigures.

Here's the the direct links to the Pogo Minifigures Database List and the Xinh Minifigures Database List.   Go to Down the Blocks now!

New Xinh brand of Not Lego Minifigures

I find it interesting and coincidental that the new brand Xinh seems to rise out of the ashes of Decool's demise.

While previously known for the 4 Ghostbusters mini figures, Xinh is now the best maker of Star Wars minifigure bootlegs.   These mini figures use the standard stud attachment between the legs and the torso, most commonly seen in Lego and Sheng Yuan mini figures.

While it wasn't really known for super heroes minifigs, there is a curious Xinh set which I picked up last month.  It is an eight figure set, that includes Lois Lane, Harley Quinn, Red Skull, Silver Surfer, Cyborg, Ghost Rider, Hawkman and Arsenal.  They are all very high quality.

If you are familiar with Decool mini figures, you'll know that they have a proprietary method of attaching the legs to the torso via blades instead of studs.

When I took apart the Xinh super heroes set, what I found was that they were using Decool molds with the same blade inserts.   Interesting!

Only four of the mini figures in this set have double sided heads, Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer, Harley Quinn and Red Skull are only one sided.

Another interesting note is that the Xinh XH172 Red Skull appears to be identical to Decool 0171 Red Skull.  It's quite possible that Xinh XH175 Hawkman and XH174 Cyborg could be re-issues of Decool 202 and 203 respectively, however I don't have the Decool 0199-0204 set to verify.

Here's the model numbers based on what I could find from Ali Express.

XH104 Harley Quinn
XH172 Red Skull
XH173 Arsenal
XH174 Cyborg
XH175 Hawkman
XH176 Lois Lane
XH177 Silver Surfer
XH179 Ghost Rider
