KOPF Toys KF6167 Stranger Things Mini Figures Review (Not Lego)

Kopf just released their latest Stranger Things mini figure set earlier this month and now they have found their way onto Aliexpress.  I chose to buy the figures individually instead of as a set because I have no need for the Demogorgon.  Also for the price of the mini figure, you also get a bicycle with each figure.  As an accessory, bicycles are priced about the same as mini figures on Aliexpress.  The entire set can be found if you search for KF6167 but if you are only looking for specific minifigures, you can search by their unique ids as well.

I ordered my figures from Aliexpress on August 3 and received them about 2 weeks later, so shipping speed was pretty good. Kopf KF6167 set is popping up all over Aliexpress, so selection is good right now, if you are a fan of Stranger Things.

Each figure is packaged in it's own cellophane bag, and you'll need to assemble the minifigure and bicycle yourself.  Every figure comes with one extra hand, a mini figure stand, and an accessory which you'll see when we look at the figures more closely.

If you bought the set in its entirety, you'd get the KF1763 Demogorgon figure but no extra bicycle.  Most of the characters in the set are based on Season 3 of Stranger Things.

KF1764 - Eleven wears a purple top and blue suspenders from Stranger Things season 3 and comes with a flashlight accessory.  All figures feature arm, leg printing as well as back printing.  I was hoping that the heads would have dual expressions, but that's not the case in this set.  She comes with a red bicycle.

KF1765 - Dustin Henderson has the hat/hairpiece combo but the printing isn't great.  He's wearing a pink T-shirt under a blue jean vest that was featured in a promo for Stranger Things season 3.  Leg printing is good, but I don't like that the arms have gaps in the sleeves.  The walkie talkie is his accessory and he rides a green bicycle.

KF1766 - Will Byers wears a striped shirt from Stranger Things season 4 but the stripes don't go all the way around the arm.  Will gets pink bike and an axe for accessories.  His hair is accurate but should be a bit darker in colour.

KF1767 - Erica Sinclair is probably my favourite character in Stranger Things.  She wears blue overalls and a yellow T-shirt which I believe she wore in season 3 has a yellow bike and a slingshot.  Again, the sleeve printing is deficient.

KF1768 - Robin Buckley wears her Scoops Ahoy sailor outfit featured in Stranger Things season 3 but her hair style should be shorter and more ginger coloured.  She gets a white bike and flashlight as accessories.

KF1769 - Max Mayfield sports the purple sweatshirt and striped tee from Season 3.  Her accessories are a turquoise bicycle and walkie talkie.  Same issue with the sleeves as the other mini figures.

KF1770 - Mike Wheeler is wearing his Ghostbusters outfit from season 2.  He comes with a proton pack and particle thrower, and a blue bicycle.

Here's a look at the backs of the mini figures.

Jedi Survival Eating Chicken Game (!) Minifigures from Aliexpress

What's up and welcome back to bricksandfigs.blogspot.com!  This is the story of some random minifigures I found on Aliexpress back in May.  Once in awhile, these sort of listings pop up in my Aliexpress feed, so I figured ok why not?  With shipping, the mini figures worked out to about $0.60 CDN each or about 50 cents USD.

I think that the characters are from a game series called PUBG (Players Unknown Battleground) of which I know nothing about.  Aliexpress calls them the Jedi Survival Eating Chicken Game minifigures.  A further search on Aliexpress yielded zero hits and I couldn't find any other listing that featured these minifigures.  The brand is also unknown.

Not long after I placed my Aliexpress order, I got the dreaded Sorry, the page you requested can not be found:( message when I went to check on the listing.

However, tracking showed that the item had departed from China on June 12. Then no updates.  Finally after another month of waiting the minifigures finally arrived.  Whew!  Was starting to think that the listing was bogus and that these figures would never arrive.

Anyways, here they are.  Pretty basic figures, wrapped individually, but no figure baseplates that so commonly come with other minifigures.

There are a total of 8 minifigures in this set, consisting of 7 guys and one girl.  Three of the figures  helmets and faceguards, one has a cap and the other has hoodie.  One of the characters even has bullet wounds/blood stains on his shirt.

There's some interesting torso printed, like the Pineapple shirt guy or the Dragon shirt guy.  He's really unique because it's the first time I've seen a minifigure with a cigarette in his mouth.  All of the minifigures have some sort of leg printing, but there's no arm or back printing on the torsos.   Anyways they all have guns, really big guns.

So does anyone have more information about these characters?  Do the minifigures match the game characters?  Please let me know more about these mystery minifigures.   Thanks for looking!  Bye.

Here are all the not Lego minifigures I got in June 2021!

Hello fans of the brick!  Welcome back to my blog!  Today's quick post will update you on my latest non Lego minifigure acquisitions from Aliexpress.  I'll put a link to the stores I got them from at the bottom of this post.

I'm always on the lookout for inexpensive minifigures, especially those that I can get for less than one dollar each.  I found a store that was selling batches of 10 to 12 minifigures for around $6 CDN.  I also found another store that carried the latest minifigures made by World Minifigures, Kopf, and Pogo brands.

I'm just displaying the minifigures in no particular order.  At the time of this writing, I might have already changed some heads or hairpieces of some of my new minifigures, so don't expect yours to look exactly like mine, if you get them.

Here are some fine ass kicking ladies from the Kopf and Xinh brands. Pictured left to right KF1276, XH1678, KF599 and KF515.  I swapped the 2 heads on the two leftmost minifigures, so that the first one looks like the bride from Kill Bill.  These ones I bought from the Cheering Minifigure store on Aliexpress.

Some more minifigures you might recognize from the Stranger Things, Fortnite and Wandavision franchises.  Chengyi brand CY008 Joyce Meyers (leg swapped), Xinh XH1651, Kopf KF600, and XH1673.  These minifigures from Aliexpress Cheering store also.

The remainder of the pictures are some generic minifigures, I'm not sure of the branding. There are 4 or 5 different sets sold by the Leyu2018 store onAliexpress, each set having 10 or 12 minifigures.  This store is the one I have found selling these sets of minifigures.

In this first picture, I got a male and female security team, a person from the military and a special ops minifigure.

There's a couple of minifigures here that look like they are from the Friends franchise. The other two, I don't know but I can place them in my not Lego city.

Here's some more generic minifigures for my city.  I can't tell if the short one is a boy or girl.  The guy with the banana shirt has a Harry Potter face.

The lady in the red jacket has an id tag, not sure what her profession might be.  I can certainly use the barista minifigure for my coffee shops.  I could see the lady with the gray jacket as being a flight attendant or someone who works in a mall.  Not sure how I can use the guy sporting the british colours.

Here are a couple of painters, a young lady and a female tennis player.

Sheng Yuan SY252 Charlie IX and Dodomo Minifigures (not Lego)

Hi there and welcome back to bricksandfigs.blogspot.com, where I review minifigures and MOCs from my not Lego collection.   Don't forget to check out my latest set review post on Its-Not-Lego.blogspot.com, if you are new here.

Today, I'm reviewing an obscure set by Sheng Yuan. It's SY252 Charlie IX and Dodomo.  I think I got this set way back in 2014.  I bought the set off ebay because it was decently priced and each minifigure came with a nice assortment of accessories.

I had to do a search on Charlie IX and Dodomo to find out more information about this character.  Apparently Dodomo is an awkward student detective.  His dog's name is Charlie IX.  He is China's equivalent of Harry Potter.  There's a series of fantasy books about Dodomo and his royal dog.

Sheng Yuan put out this six mini figure set SY252 due to the popularity in China.  Unfortunately, I haven't dug up any more information about the other characters in this set.  The boy above seems to be quite active in sports. He comes with a soccer ball, goal and a skateboard.

This guy must be a computer nerd or someone intellectual.  He comes with a newspaper, laptop, mug and an umbrella.  Maybe a father figure?

Is this figure the mom?  She's got an apron and cooking utensils.

This figure likes animals a lot and perhaps she's the little sister?   Looks like she has a hedgehog and owl as pets.

Not sure who this guy is, but he's ready for bedtime as he is dressed in pajamas.  He has a side table with book.  Not sure about the squirrels significance.

The figures in this set are near Lego quality.  They all have individual hair pieces and outfits.  Print and colour is nice.  I like this set.  Just not sure why the set isn't called Dodomo and Charlie IX.  Why does the dog get top billing?  If you know anything about this character set please let me know in the comments below!

Thanks for visiting!

GBL KY98216 Minifigures set Review

Hello again!

I'm reviewing another Lego clone set I bought during the Aliexpress 11.11 sale in 2018.  I just got the set recently so it has taken about 2 months to get to me.  This is my first encounter with the brand GBL which is short for Gao Bo Le.  Is GBL is a sister brand of Kazi?  Not sure.   Anyways the set number is KY98216 and consists of 8 train themed diorama minifigures.

Each minifigure comes packaged with a little 20 piece accessory set and a two sided instruction sheet.  Let's check them all out now.  (Warning! this post has lots of pictures.)

KY98216-1:  White collar woman (all minifig descriptions courtesy of Aliexpress).

The female minifigure sports a pink blazer and white pants.  Her hair isn't plastic but rubber, similar to the hair found on Lego Friends minifigs.

There's no backside printing on the woman minifigure.

The white collar woman pushes a luggage cart consists of an orange parcel and 2 suitcases.  I've seen this cart used as a baby tram before.  In the diorama, there's two green seas and a recycle bin with lid.
Nice touch on the printed bin.  I got an extra hand too.

KY98216-2:  Little Boy in Park

The little boy minifigure has a light blue tunic and is wearing overalls but only on the frontside.

The little boy's diorama consists of a brown park bench and a pair of green and pink balloons stuck into 2 brick pillars.

 KY98216-3:  Bizarre Doctor

This set is truly bizarre.  We have this weird faced minifigure who's supposed to be a black suited doctor carrying a printed briefcase.

The doctor comes with a dining room set that has a circular table, two pink chairs, a mug, a newspaper and a bowl of something.  Unfortunately, the pedestal for the table doesn't fit into the hole.  And what's with the pink chairs?  This is my least favorite set of the series.

KY98216-4: Station Announcer

The station announcer wears a white jacket and blue cap.  He's got a headset as well.  His facial expression looks confused.

While the announcer isn't the best minifig of the bunch, I really like his accessory set. He's got this control center with telephone and microphone on 2 small desks.  It's hard to find these type of Lego like accessories.  All the control center parts are printed too, not stickered.  Announcer also gets an extra headset and hand.

KY98216-5: Station Inspector

Although this minifigure is called Station Inspector, I'd call him a maintenance guy, based on his accessories.  He looks to be wearing an orange jumpsuit with lots of straps and pockets.  He wears a blue cap and sports glasses on his face.

His diorama/accessory set is a platform ladder, a beige tool box with a drill, some bits and a wrench.  He gets an extra hand as well.

KY98216-6: Steward

This minifig is called the Steward, but I'm not sure what his actual job function is.  He's wearing blue pants, a white suit jacket with a blue shirt.

The accessory is an automatic gate.  I can probably use that in my Lepin 02015 Train station set.

KY98126-7 Stewardess

GBL calls her a stewardess, but she looks

KY98126-8:  Train Conductor?

This minifigure looks like the guys who stand on the train platform to make sure the trains show up on time, based on his vest which has a pad and pen in the pocket.  I didn't like his vehicle accessory, whatever it was, so I stripped it for parts and didn't bother featuring it here.

Thanks for checking out this review.
