Kazi 8057 Not Lego Fire Fighting Car Set Review

This is the Kazi Fire Fighting car, set number is 8057. It that comes with a fireman mini figure and an assortment of accessories.  The set has 83 pieces according to the box. It's the first Kazi set that I bought.

The fireman mini figure comes in a black outfit with yellow safety stripes.  His helmet is gray and he comes with an oxygen tank, breathing apparatus and visor also.

Here's a look at the front of the car.  I'm not fond of the blue windows, wish they were clear instead.

And here's the rear.

The trunk gate lifts up so you can stash the fireman's equipment.  Guess that makes this car a hatchback.

He's got an ax mounted on the outside.

And a fire extinguisher.  Hey! put that extra one back in the station.

The only drawback with Kazi blocks is that they smell like gasoline, so it's advisable to wash them right away with hot soapy water as soon as you get them.  If you don't, you might catch fire like the Torch!

Series: 8057 Fire Fighting
Pieces: 83
Minifigs: 1
Would I recommend this set?  No, because the bricks smell like gasoline.

Qiaoletong Not Lego Police Mini vehicle sets Instructions

Due to popular request, I've posted the instructions for the Qiaoletong sets of police mini vehicles here.   There are ten different sets.  I only put together the security guard and liftgate set. The others I took the printed police parts and wheels for other brick builds.  The Qiaoletong brick sets don't have any names for their sets so I'll just list them by the set number and make up the names as I go.  Each set comes with a two sided one page set of instructions.

TS10100-01 - police plane - 20 pieces

TS10100-02 - police boat - 17 pieces

TS10100-03 - police chopper - 25 pieces

TS10100-04 - police bike - 23 pieces

TS10100-05 - security guard and lift gate - 27 pieces

This is the only set I built you can find more pictures of it here:

TS10101-01 - police car - 23 pieces

TS10101-02 - police scooter - 19 pieces

TS10101-03 - police vehicle - 24 pieces

TS10101-04 - police vehicle - 20 pieces

TS10101-05 - police vehicle - 27 pieces

All of these little sets are easy to build and the parts should not be difficult to source.

Brand: Qiaoletong

Number of pieces: approx 20 to 27 pieces per set

Would I recommend this set? No.  I only bought it because it was cheap on ebay.

Companion 301 Not Lego Mini Bulldozer Set Review

Ever since I got my Lego City Cement Mixer, I've been trying to find similar construction vehicles.  I found this Mini Bulldozer on ebay.  It's by a brand I've never heard of before called Companion.

The contents of the box are the instruction sheet and two packages.  There are a total of 41 pieces in this set.

This is the front page of the instructions.

And here's the back page.

Here's the mini bulldozer driver mini figure.  It's odd how the head is a deeper yellow colour than the hands.  His torso looks like it's hand drawn, heh.

It took less than 5 minutes to assemble this little bulldozer.  I've built it here as per the instructions, but I would probably lower the stance by removing the 2x2 blocks.

Fit is pretty decent.  It's got two clamps on the rear which would be useful to attach an optional tool to.

As with the mini figure, I found that they use two different colours of yellow in their pieces.  Not sure if I like that or not.

I don't have a shovel piece in my lego/brick collection, so this is my first.

I've got a Kazi dump truck and bulldozer coming soon.  I'll do another post in futue to show off all of my construction brick vehicles.
