Pogo PG8025 Big Bang Theory Minifigures Review

I'm not really a fan of the Big Bang Theory, but I am a fan of these minifigures.  This is the 7 character set from Pogo and the set number is PG8025.  They cost me about $1 CDN each, so that's like 75 cents USD.   I ordered these way back in November but just got them now.

There's also another Big Bang minifigure set that has all of the same characters above but you get one extra Sheldon who is in a green lantern shirt.  That set is put out by the Xinh brand (see pic below).

All of the characters have the two sided heads, you can compare the minifigs  faces in the first and second pictures.   The quality of the minifigs is good except for Raj's face that has a white streak right in the middle.  That's not a light reflection, see second picture.

Not featured in my pictures are the accessories you get with most of the minifigures.  Penny has a goblet as pictured.  Raj has a briefcase.  Howard has a rocket ship.  Sheldon has a green lantern. Leonard has a doll of some sort.  Amy has a newspaper, which surprisingly says The Lego News.

These minifigures will be nice additions as regular folks in my It's Not Lego town.

Pogo PG-647 Star Wars Obi Wan Kenobi Minifigure Review

Normally Pogo makes a pretty good bootleg of a Star Wars Lego minifigure.  But this PG-647 Obi Wan Kenobi minifigure is terrible.  Well from the torso up he's ok, but look at the colour difference of the robe he's wearing.  It doesn't even match.  His face and hairpiece is ok but his lower half, is Argh, I can't stand it.

Here is Obi Wan (Ben) Kenobi from the back. He's got a lot of excess plastic on the back of his hair.

This Ben Kenobi copy is from the Lego Mos Eisley Cantina 75052 set.

Obi Wan comes from the larger Pogo Star Wars minifigure set PG8021.

Pogo PG-674 Star Wars Ahsoka Tano Minifigure Review

I just opened up one of the packages at random, so today we are going to look at the Star Wars minifigure character called Ahsoka Tano. She's a Jedi Padawan in the Star Wars Clone Wars series.

This Pogo minifigure is a copy of the Lego Ahsoka Tano minifig found in the 75158 Rebel Combat Frigate set.  She comes with two light sabres.

While the front printing of the Ahsoka minifigure is acceptable ...

... the same cannot be said of the back.  There is a lot of paint bleed on her hairpiece and tail.

And when she's not battling evil Star Wars villains, she's directing air traffic at Its Not Lego International Airport.

Ahsoka is part of the larger Pogo Star Wars Minifigure set PG8028.

Pogo Brand PG8006 Not Lego X-Men Minifigures

 

Hey there! Let's look at another set of mini figures today.  These ones are made by Pogo and were never made by Lego, so technically they are not fakes or knockoffs.  Set PG8006 consists of 8 mini figures.  Some are good and some not so good.   Let's review shall we?

First up:  PG022 Wolverine

I cannot stand the face this used on this Wolverine mini figure. It just looks stupid.  The eyes are too close together.   

I love Wolverine's costume though.  I might pick up a few more of PG022 just to get the outfit and toss the heads away.  I'm hoping they will do one a female version of this costume, so I could put all the X-men together with the same outfits.  It's interesting that Pogo does some back leg printing on this set.

PG023 Rogue, nice touch on the hair colouring.

Rogue also has printing on the back of her legs.

PG024 Quicksilver - this character is based on a comic book version, not the movie version.

Not crazy about Quicksilver's hairpiece.

Here's PG025 Psylocke.  I don't like her face but not sure why.

The Psylocke minifg comes with a pink sword and purple thunderbolt which I chose not to display here.

PG026 Professor Xavier.   My favourite of the bunch.

He comes with a cool wheelchair.

PG027 Iceman - The derpy eyebrows and facial expression is not working for me.

PG028 Archangel.  Love the badass face and side printing on the arms.

Sadly, the chrome wings I got were all scratched to hell.  

PG029 Mystique - The only minifig in this set with two faces.  They should not have made Mystique the lead character in the X-Men: Apocalypse move.  Jennifer Lawrence is over-rated.
